New Pregnant Pics!

We're getting closer and closer...and my belly is getting bigger! He's starting to run out of room! His feet are getting close to my ribs and I know I'm going to wake up sometime with a foot under my rib...

Everything's going fine! I have to take the glucose tolerance test next week and get another Rhogam shot, which I am not looking forward to. I really hope that I pass the glucose tolerance test.

Right now the big debate with our family is: Is Will going to be born with red hair or brown hair? Eston's a red head...I'm a brunette. I was born with jet black hair and it lightened as I got older...with some hints of red. Eston was born with neon orange hair and it turned to auburn with age. Soo...that's the great debate. What do you think? I'm thinking scientifically...dominant and recessive genes...that kind of stuff. But very few people are agreeing with me. Now, there's no doubt that his hair will change color...it always does. But we are debating...what color will it be when he's born... So, leave me an answer!

7 months down...

So I'm officially 7 months pregnant. William Edward Parson will be here in early January. I'm so ready for him to be here. I hope that these next couple of months fly by. Eston is getting more and more excited by the day, too. He's already bought Will a Halloween costume for next year! Yes, I told him he was nuts but I laughed anyway. So...for Halloween next year, Will is going to be a lion. RAWR!

Eston hit his 5 year anniversary with Baker Hughes in August. Sometimes I can't believe that he's really been there that long, but he sure has. Hopefully he'll have another 30 years or more.
That's about all that is new in the Parson household this month. We'll see what next month brings.

8 Weeks

Well right now, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and loving every minute of it. The morning sickness started yesterday. I've noticed that I've only gotten nauseous when I eat breakfast. I've never been one to really eat breakfast...so maybe that's telling me to just keep sleeping in and eat lunch instead! So far, everything is going well!!! We're very excited. We both are hoping for a girl!!! We'll see what happens...

Pregnant

Ironically, I posted a blog about nausea and pregnancy a couple weeks ago. :-)

I just found out that I'm 6 weeks pregnant. (I did not know that at the time of the previous blog...that blog was about something else entirely.)

We are SO excited! I can't wait to be a mommy!

Women & Nausea-The Stereotype

So a few weeks ago, I felt yucky. I had an upset stomach like you wouldn't believe. I was nauseous, couldn't eat, and I just wanted to stay in bed and feel sorry for myself. But as soon as I told anybody that asked what was wrong with me...they automatically said "Are you pregnant?" WHY is it that if a woman is nauseous that people assume that she's pregnant? Why can't we just have an upset stomach!?! It's annoying and stereotypical. I don't like stereotypes. I had a stomach ache...so what. It was just a stomach ache. Nothing else. *Rolls eyes* You'd think that as adults we'd all be able to overcome stereotyping but obviously not. This is something that's been assumed about me before...stomach ache=pregnant. NO. That's not the only reason for a stomach ache, you stereotypers!

I had to rant about that. I'm not going to apologize for it. I'm tired of it. Maybe tomorrow's blog will be a better topic...and that the next time I have a stomach ache, I won't be stereotyped...
